From the creative/creation process the second step in the creation process is stated as: creating the space for creation - preparing the environment [masculine thrust (phase II - choosing to surrender) - calling forth the feminine - calling forth the creative spirit - seeking the receptacle - the paradox of the creating the space - the need for the mature feminine]

The second step in the creative/creation process is described as creating the space for creation and/or preparing the environment. Without a minimum necessary space a creation cannot unfold and may be unable to even come into existence. Creating the space for creation is about create an internal and external safe and secure space of sufficient size and space where the flow of energy which gives rise to the creation is free to unfold true to itself.

What needed to be understood is that any creation needs space to grow and unfold. However, as a creation which has never previously been seen or that is significantly different from the past, we don’t really know how much space we will need. Nor do we exactly know what the environment will look like that effectively nurtures and supports the environment. We don’t really know these things until the creation unfolds. But there are some general things we know and we can prepare ourselves and our environment. We can look to see what influences exist on the space we are providing for the creation for the existing internal influences and external influences can have a significant impact on the success of any creative endeavor.

Space and creation (Top)

Whenever any we release energy, the internal conditions and surrounding external environment will cause and/or influence how that energy of creation flows and how that energy reforms. Hence, understanding the existing internal and external influences on a creation become very important if we wish to manifest a desired creation.

Space is extremely important to any creation and there are two types of space. One is an internal space and the other is external. The internal space lies within the creation which unfolds. The external space lies external to the creation. Both are ultimately related and interconnected but it is best to initially seem them as separate and explore them as unrelated. Then look to see their interconnection. Otherwise the exploration gets too complicated too quickly.

Energy, in particular a flow of energy, is what gives rise to creation/Creation and animates creation. Energy flows along the path of least resistance for the environment in which it finds itself. It will flow according to, or in combination with, one of two flow paths.

The first flow path is without the influences of the consciousness which lies and can awaken within the energy. Here the energy will flow from a place “high” energy or potential to one of “lower” energy or potential within a given environment. For example, a ball rolling down a hill. The top of the hill places the ball in a high potential energy than the bottom of the hill. As a result the ball rolls or flows down the hill.

The second flow path is with the influences of consciousness. Here the flow path of the energy is no longer necessarily directed along the path of least resistance for the environment. Consciousness can elect to cause the ball to move up the hill. The presence of consciousness does not constrain the flow of energy to the existing path of least resistence. Rather, consciousness can create a flow pattern that goes against all the prevailing influences.

Here consciousness will find it necessary to create a threshold of energy and “adds” more energy to the system. In essence, consciousness creates a greater energy potential that what currently exists. That then creates a flow path that manifests what consciousness desires. The energy again flows the path of least resistance toward fulfillment but it is a path that never existed prior to consciousness acting to create it.

Role of influence on a creation (Top)

The role of influences on a creation is best understood by look at an analogy. The molten iron can be poured to take any shape of the container in which it is placed. The container or cast that is used to shape the molten iron is only an outside influence or the environmental conditions used to control or to channel the molten iron into a given form. The cast holds the iron in that form until it cools sufficiently to hold the shape of the container in which it was poured. If there are no outside influences, as any material cools, that material will take a shape determined by the inherent interaction of the atoms of the material with each other. The shape of any material may be spherical or crystalline but will depend on the material itself and will form in a way that is unique to its nature and its internal properties.

Without outside influences the material it will take a shape based on those inside influences. This is why there is such an interest to see how certain material form in the near zero gravity field of the space shuttle and orbiting space laboratories found above earth. All materials that cool on the surface of the earth are affected by gravity. In orbit, these gravitational forces are greatly reduced and one is able to see how the inherent properties of the material form the structure as the material cools.

Internal influences (Top)

For any creation, there are internal forces and internal influences that will cause the energy to form into a given shape. If an unfolding creation is allowed to be in a space with little or no outside or inside influences other than what is inherent to the materials of creation, the creation will take a shape and form inherent to it own being. The creation will assume it natural and true form whatever it may be.

Without any external forces, the internal forces and interactions will totally determine the form and shape of the energy. Without any internal changes, and no outside influences, the energy will always go back to it natural state. If there are internal changes with no outside influences, then, of course, the shape and form of the energy will be determined by the types and kinds of internal changes that occur. (More on ..... internal influences)

External influences (Top)

If there are external influences and forces with no internal changes, a spectrum of results are possible. With both internal and external changes the possibilities are unlimited. Without internal changes, the spectrum of possibilities is determined by the size of the outside influences. If the outside influences are less than the internal forces, the internal forces will determine what is formed. If the outside forces are about the same size as the internal forces, a balancing act and dance being to develop between the internal and external determined by which one is stronger. If the outside forces are stronger than the internal forces, they will determine what is possible. The question is whether or not the external forces, no matter how strong or weak they may be, allow or don’t allow the energy to flow natural to itself. Some external forces influence but do not hinder the what is unfolding. At other times, the external forces can totally suppress and override internal forces. Some just cause the creation to become different but do not hinder its unfoldment. (More on ....external influences)

The space of creation and creating the void (Top)

Given the fact that there are internal and external influences on any creative endeavor, the ideal space for creation is a void. A void devoid of both internal and external influences.

A void is a place of nothingness. It has no form. It is the realm of the unmanifested. It is open to unlimited and infinite possibilities for nothing exists and all is possible. It is a place of absolute potential. In reality the void is a simply the space or room one needs to allow a particular creation to come into existence without influences that limit the creation’s unfoldment.

It doesn’t matter how we look at it. Any creation will need space In particular a fertile space. A fertile space is one which has the correct environmental conditions and can supply the nutrients needed to grow and sustain the creation and allow for its free unfoldment. In the realm of pure potentiality all that is needed lies in potential and is available if called upon.

Mystics talk about creating from a place of “no-thing-ness” and/or a void. A void or a place of no-thing-ness only exists when viewed from within the creative/creation process. There are a variety of perspectives we can have. When we view from within the creative/creation process there is unseen world that lies within a void of “no-thing-ness” or no form. Yet, there is a role to this unseen realm. It is where our desired creation gets organized. What is important about this place of “no-thing-ness” is that it is the cauldron of creation/Creation. It is where the existing form is dissolved and made available for a new creation. If we are going to create something new we have to dissolve the old form. We have to create the space were no form or nothing exists so that the new can come into form. Additionally, we need to create a place of nothingness both internally and externally.

If we do not create the void, this space of creation within our lives we cannot and will not create what we desire. Additionally this space is not something mind can ultimately determine. The creation itself identifies the space that is needed. If we surrender to the flow of energy we create, it will carry those things which need to be dissolved into the cauldron of creation/Creation to be dissolved and reused.

Holding onto that which must be released only results in a dark night of the soul. Flowing with the released energy gives rise to a euphoric kundalini experience. Yet, we cannot hold onto the euphoria for it will only create a addictive pattern. We must find true freedom and become free like the wind to flow into and out of every step of the creative/creation process. We must come with nothing and not attachments and leave with nothing and no attachments. Otherwise we simply interfere with the creation process. Creating the space is about releasing our attachments with what is and be open to what is to come.

Creating the space (Top)

Creating the space is about is about working and changing both the internal and external forces. Internally it is to rearrange the internal forces to suitable to support what we desire to create. Externally, it is to either rearrange the external influences or find an environment where the external influences support the creation.

In working either the internal or external aspect of creating the space it is assume that the work required in the previous step of conceptual formation is completed. Although we can always go back and iterate the process, we need a clear understanding of what we desire to create and some idea as to how we are going to obtain the energy for the creation. That is, we should have some idea as to what it will it take or require to “plug into” to generate the flow of energy and/or what environmental conditions are needed for our seed to germinate.

If we know what we desire to create but don’t fully understand the environmental or energy conditions we need to create it, then we will have to decide if we are going to use the masculine way or feminine way to create what we desire. Which way works better depends on how significantly different what we want to create differs from the past. The greater the difference the more the feminine way is recommended.

The masculine and feminine aspect of the space for creation (Top)

The space for creation has both a masculine and feminine aspect. Both the masculine and feminine are needed to create a safe and secure space for creation internally and externally and each as an ongoing role in maintaining that space.

The feminine aspect of being is what nurtures and sustains a creation. The actual space that is created is part of the feminine aspect. The feminine must give a part of herself to hold this space to nurture her offspring. The way a female carries a child within her womb is a good example of this. Relative to the feminine aspect, the space for creation can be considered the womb of creation. In this regard, there will be a birth and the new creation will have to leave the womb which nurtured and sustained it. This womb is not necessarily a physical place but it can be. This womb of creation has a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical component.

The masculine aspect of being is what protects the space of creation being held by the feminine. In the same way a man is expected to defend and protect his family, the masculine must defend and protect both the feminine and the space she creates to nurture her offspring. The feminine aspect of being can only nourish the creation to the extent her needs are met which includes the safe and secure space to be free to nurture her creation.

Internally this means developing the mature inner masculine to defend and protect the inner feminine and developing a mature inner feminine to call forth and create the space of the inner masculine to come out and mature. In this regard, the inner masculine and inner feminine dance is one of each other helping the other to grow into maturity.

Externally what we will need to do depends on whether we choose to create the masculine way or create the feminine way.

Considerations in addressing influences on our creative endeavor (Top)

Recreating an aspect of ourselves and/or our environment is subject to internal and external influences. Creating the space is about working to understanding and addressing the internal and external influences on our particular creative endeavor and addressing or reducing their impact to the extent possible. Exactly what those influences may be, and how effectively we can address them, is unique to our creative efforts. (More on .... Considerations in addressing influences on our creative endeavor).

Sufficient size and space (Top)

Before any creation can occur, there will need to be some type of emptying process to make the ground fertile and provide the room of sufficient size and space for the new creation. For example, as discussed in the Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective, in Consciousness separating to create Its Playmates, Consciousness itself become the space for Creation. It sacrifices Itself and the entire then known existence to create its Playmates. Similarly, we too will be required to give a part of ourselves to create the space for what we desire to create and there will be a corresponding sacrifice in our inner and external world.

A safe and secure space (Top)

Creating and holding a safe and secure space is about realizing that an unfolding creation, especially in the very early parts of the process is very vulnerable. The new offspring will be weak and undeveloped and unable to defend and protect itself. Both the feminine and masculine are needed to protect that offspring until it is strong enough to stand on its own two feet. It is here the feminine will be required to give more to the creative endeavor.

The space for creation is not only that which is created to conceive and birth the creation. The creation must be nurtured until it is strong enough and able to get its own nourishment. Although the need to protect and defend the feminine and the offspring may become a less of a requirement after birth of the offspring, the need to nourish the offspring may continue for quite some time. Here again what is needed depends on the creation we wish to manifest. (More on .... a safe and secure space)

The sacrifice of creation/Creation and the space of creation (Top)

Any given creation we undertake will require some portion of our spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspect to be sacrificed for the new creation and to create what we desire. This, in turn, requires some type of change and/or sacrifice of our external world. How much and exactly what, depends on what we desire to create. One of the major issue most of us face is we are unwilling to let go of what we have to create the necessary space for what we desire. Often we create unnecessary pain in our life because we are unwilling to let go of what needs to be released in a creative endeavor.

masculine thrust (phase II - choosing to surrender) - calling forth the feminine - calling forth the creative spirit - seeking the receptacle - the paradox of the creating the space - the need for the mature feminine

Masculine thrust (phase II - choosing to surrender)
(Top): The masculine act of choosing creates a flow of energy. Within the equivalence of energy and consciousness, our energy goes where we focus our attention and awareness. The act of choosing in any way creates a flow of energy that, if allowed to freely flow and unfold, will manifest as an experience in some way within the environment in which we find ourselves. The question is whether or not the masculine is willing to surrender to the flow of energy that it has created.

Calling forth the feminine
(Top): For any creation to grow and unfold, the feminine creative aspect must be present to hold the space and nourish the creation. Part of creating the space is to call forth both the inner feminine and the outer feminine to nourish the creation. Inwardly, this means creating the internal thinking and belief system that allows for creation of the inner space for creation and nourish and supporting the desired creation. It is about removing those aspects of our thinking and belief system that does not allow for the free flow of energy and its unfoldment within our being. Externally, it is about finding and/or creating the environment that can nourish the desired creation. Most often this simply means being free to respond and follow our intuitive guidance as we are lead to nourish the external unfoldment of our creation.

Calling forth the creative spirit
(Top): Our creative spirit is the source of our creative life energy to create what we desire. It is what energizes and catalyzes our life. Usually aspects of our creative spirit have been unable to free unfold as a result of the experiences we have had in life. Frequently it is necessary to call forth these aspects and deal with the pain or other issues responsible for not allowing it free expression. Here again, exactly what we will need to face and address depends on what we desire to create.

Seeking the receptacle
(Top): The seed for creation must be placed in fertile ground to grow. Seeking the receptacle is about finding that fertile ground. It is not always necessary to create the environment we need for a creation. Often we just need to find the correct spot to place the seed. Seeking the receptacle is about finding that place in which our desired creation can grow.

The paradox of the creating the space
(Top): The paradox of creating the space is that it is a masculine act but it can’t be done properly without a feminine nurturing energy.

The need for the mature feminine
(Top): For a creation to grow and unfold true to itself it needs to be nourished by no only a feminine nurturing energy but the mature nurturing feminine energy. The mature feminine nurturing energy is willing to give of herself and become whatever she needs to be come to nurture the creation in the way it needs to be nurtured grow including her own life but not at the expense of her life.
