Navigating from the heart is about learning to use our
internal guidance to guide our creative activities. The heart is
the symbol of our
creative life energy or our
creative spirit. Navigating from the heart is learning how to
focus on the flow of our creative life energy that arises from the
intention we hold and access the awareness and knowledge available
to us through our creative spirit to navigate the unknown of a
creative endeavor. It needs to be remembered that any true creative
endeavor takes us into the unknown and mind is of limited use to
create what we desire. The question is, “What does navigating from
the heart and/or following our internal guidance look like in a
creative endeavor?”
Navigating from the heart and/or following our
internal guidance is actually a dance. It is a dance between
what mind presents and what we feel. However, we are not always
consciously aware of what we feel. To navigate from the heart is to
move our conscious awareness into what is
symbolized in the heart
and open ourselves to feel the flow of energy generated by the
intention we hold. It is about becoming fully present with the
experience to fulfill and honor the intention that created it. We
then need to allow our
intuitive guidance to arise from that flow of energy and the
consciously stepping into mind. We step into mind to
honor the intuitive guidance presented by mind and choose to act
in a way to create the next experience that leads us to manifest
what we desire to create.
What occurs here is the intention we hold creates a flow of energy
which we sense but we will not consciously feel. Depending on the
threshold for feeling, we may or may not be consciously aware of
what we feel as a result of the intention we hold. Nevertheless, our
being senses the flow of energy. In asking our
intuitive guidance to align with that flow of energy to create
what we desire we will get a thought, idea or an image of what we
need to do to align with that energy. We then need to act to create
an experience of that insight whether it be a thought, idea or
image. As with any experience, when we have the experience we can
become distracted from our focus by responding to what arises in the
experience. Often memories of past pain surface that limit the
freedom we have to respond to what is presented and/or mind presents
it judgements and opinions about what is being experienced which
distract us from remaining focused.
What arises as we move to create the experience of what our
intuitive guidance presents are the conscious, subconscious and
unconscious excuses, reasons, influences, obstructions, beliefs and
other things which divert, rob or scatter the flow of our
creative life energy or otherwise prevent us from creating what
we desire to experience. Usually we must work through what the
conscious, subconscious and unconscious presents by asking our
intuitive guidance how to address them or seek appropriated
counseling as determined by our mind. After we work through them,
assuming we have not been distracted, we can have the experience we
set out to create based on the intuitive guidance we received.
Unless we manifest our intention in
honoring and following our intuitive guidance after we create
the experience presented by our intuitive guidance, we the need to
consciously go back into our mind, remember our intention and again
focus on the feeling we wish to create. We then again ask our
intuitive guidance, what we need to do to again align with the flow
of energy for what we wish to create. Again another image, thought
or idea will arise as do more conscious, subconscious and/or
unconscious issues and we start the dance all over again . We
continue the same process again and again
spiraling toward manifesting our intention as we peal away the
obstructions as we would the
peal the layers of an onion until we manifest what we desire.
