Summary

Returning to creative play is really about finding a way to consciously step out of mind to step past the limits and barriers of mind. It is to enter a spontaneous and innocent childlike play of discovery and exploration of options and possibilities for the situation we face. Or it is to explore the depth and breadth of our unlimited creativity to access our creative power and creative ability. In either case, we will need to become a detached witness as we do our exploration.

Creative play reflective of the spontaneous and innocent child like play of exploration and discovery is the door way to both understanding any aspect of Creation and to create any, and all, experiences we may wish to experience. To fully embrace this particular state of play at every level of our being is the most powerful and most creative state one can enter. Creative play is the key to the journey into the exploration and discovery of the depth of our creativity and creative power.

It does need to be noted that returning to a state of creative play and a spontaneity and innocence in our play is optional. It not required for us to access and use our creative power and creative ability for we use them all the time at a subconscious level It is only required if we wish to consciously access them. We can never lose our inherent unlimited creativity. It is our birthright. However, our creative power and creative ability will remain nonconscious unless we choose to make them conscious. The journey into the depth of our creativity and creative power is really only about making what we do nonconsciously conscious.

It does need to be noted, we can choose to go into creative play and return to this state independent of creating any other type and/or kind of experience. That is, we can set the intention to do nothing more than experience creative play and/or the depth of creative play with no other intention or desire. Then with the tool of having the ability to enter creative play whenever we choose, we have both a way to live our life and/or a tool to use creativity whenever we wish.

Three “levels” to creative play (Top)

In talking about creative play, two things needs to be understood. The first is that the creative power and creative ability we can access is determined by the level of creative play we can enter. The deeper we can enter creative play, the greater creative power we can access. The second is there is a spectrum to creative play this spectrum runs through what can be perceived as three levels to creative play.

At one extreme of the spectrum, and reflective of the first level, is any play that moves us out of play of the mind and past the limits and barriers mind imposes based on its past experiences.

The second level of play is to enter play of what is symbolized in the heart and totally surrender to the flow of our creative life energy giving the space for our creative spirit to freely unfold and to lead our life rather than our enculturated mind. It is for what is symbolized in the heart and the feeling of the fulness of being to intend the direction of our life as an internal compass and mind attend to the details to make it happen. The second level of play is to return to the state of being in which we carried into life. It is to become that playful young child but with an adult mind. It is to enter the adult creative state of play. Here we relay on our body wisdom and intuitive guidance and what the heart wants more than what the mind wants.

The third level of play is at the other extreme of the spectrum and past the play of what is symbolized by the heart. It is to move toward entering the most creative state of being. It is to take our creativity one step further. It is to return to a type of play characteristic of the Source of Creation. It is to realize we are the source/Source of creation/Creation at play. We are consciousness/Consciousness at play with itself.

The need for differing perspectives (Top)

In moving into deeper and deeper levels of creative play to access greater creative powers the approach is essentially the same. The types and kind of issues that are faced are in essence the same. What changes are the size and intensity of the issues.

Analogously, it is diving into the ocean. The ocean is water and at any level we are only dealing with water. However, because the depth of the water increases as we go deeper, we need to take different types and kind of precautions as we go deeper. We cannot expect to dive deeply and return what life we find to the surface without repercussions of some type. We need to be adequately prepared to work at the deeper levels and know how to bring what we find back to the surface.

What is interesting about this journey into the depth of our creativity and creative power is that as we move from the shallow levels into the deeper levels, we learn what we need to do for the next step as we go deeper. It is a self generating, self teaching phenomenon. We are given what we need for the next level of exploration at the level we find ourselves. We only need to be open to learn exactly how we created the conditions at the level we find ourselves. That understanding then points the way and provides the guidance to the next level. We only need to become observant as to what conditions are changing and what techniques need to be modified or employed to deal with the changing conditions.

In the analogy of the going deeper into ocean water, the changing condition we face is the change in water pressure. In moving into the depth and breadth of our creative power and creative ability, the changing condition is perspective. It is our perspective and how we think creation/Creation works that functions analogous to the water pressure. The perspective we need to hold to experience our increasing creative power and creative ability becomes harder and harder to hold. This is because the experience of Physical Creation are designed to direct us away from our own creative power and creative ability and create more of a victim consciousness and keep us in a childish (not childlike but childish) creative consciousness rather than becoming an adult creator consciousness. In the same way we cannot readily bring a life form from the depths of the ocean to the surface, we cannot readily bring our aspects of our creative power into Physical Creation. It can be done but certain changes to our environment must be made.

What needs to be understood here is a perspective that is needed to explore the depth and breadth of our inherent creative power and creative ability. Then we need to have a different perspective to be able to bring a consciousness awareness of the creative power and creative ability back into the everyday world. The perspectives are different. This is why it is recommended we adopt creativity perspective that holds our creativity sacred. Holding our creatively sacred will allow us to change our perspective as necessary to address what needs to be addressed.

Returning to the depth of creative play is a reconstitution of self  (Top)

If we enter creative play and move toward the play of what is symbolized of the heart we will naturally begin to reconstitute our creative power and creative ability. In essence we piece ourselves back together. We will begin to quite quickly see where we initially allowed ourselves to bleed away our creative life energy and our ability to be in the most creative state of play. Additionally, we will being to see into the illusion of mind we used that made us unable to see how we had created both our experiences and the reality we experience.

The very young child in play moves to perform their play subconsciously for their consciousness is still undeveloped and too preoccupied in learning to manage their physical body and/or it is too preoccupied with the wonderment of discovery and what they are discovering. Yet it is this subconscious play that our body wisdom gives to us as a ready made solution for stepping out of the illusion of mind that we have created by how and what we think. We do so through what we feel and be open to feeling. Even as an adult, we can readily enter this innocent playful state. But to do so, we need to address the reason why we ever left the most creative state of play.

The problem we all face is that we, like a child, our creative spirit is extremely vulnerable in this creative state of play. We are easily hurt and our play is easily thwarted. In this regard, the most creative state, it also our must vulnerable state. It is in the creative state of innocent play, being in a state of wonderment and “ah” that we suffer our greatest pain--although that pain will not necessarily register consciously and/or physically when it occurs.

The way the process of losing the play of what is symbolized in the heart works is quite simple. We focus our attention and awareness on some playful activity fully consumed in the exploration and surrender to that activity. All of our creative life energy is flowing in a given direction. Then, suddenly something occurs that thwarts our activity. It may be that we fall and feel physical pain. We may cause the displeasure of those around us perhaps even to the point of being physically punished. Or we suddenly find ourselves alone and extremely self conscious because our activities have become so out of place in the eyes and judgment of those around us. Sometimes as adults or as a child with conscious awareness, we become disillusioned because our efforts do not unfold the way we wish and do not bring the exact results we desired. Or, our action do not bring the expectation we had as to how we thought things should happen. It is like this entire flow of energy suddenly slams into a brick wall and we are thrown directly back into our face.

Any of these responses to our playing begins to cause us to doubt and shy away from freely surrendering to the flow of the energy again. They cause us to doubt the wisdom of our creative spirit and doing what we felt was correct and enjoyable for us. More importantly, we begin to doubt that feeling of freedom and play that we were experiencing and allowing to lead us. We slowly begin to live our lives bases on external comparisons and judgements rather than follow our own internal wisdom and freely surrendering to that joyful flow that comes from within our being.

Each of the comparisons and judgements that we make with the mind as to what is acceptable or not acceptable involves a denial of who and what we are. Any denied we make of ourselves causes a crack in the vessel we have created that contains who and what we think we are. We then divert our energy to further repair our ego identity we have created for ourselves. It needs to be understood, there is no problem or issue living in, and with, the expectations of others and/or with comparison with the external world. It is only when they cause us and/or require us to deny the truth of our being do they become a problem. When this occurs they require us to step out of the joyful flow that comes from within our being when we are engaged in what is correct for ourselves and a unique creation expressing itself.

Relearning to creatively play does not require a transformation. Rather it is about shedding. We have only encapsulated ourselves with a set of beliefs about reality and why we cannot play. We only need to accept ourselves as we already are and whatever it looks like. The more we can accept who we are, the judgements of our conditioning will fall away and more of ourselves will be revealed. In doing so, we will find more and more of it is to our liking. The only real difficulty is that we have been conditioned not to accept ourselves for who and what we are. We spend our life trying to become something or somebody other than we already are. We see ourselves as lacking and needing to obtain something to meet the expectations we have been conditioned to meet. However, when we accept who we are as we are, our own internal guidance allows our transformation to occur and in fact, making it somewhat gentle.

The Fifteen Creative Steps/Guidelines and the approach recommended here (Top)

What is described below can be use separately or in conjunction with the Fifteen Creative Steps/Guidelines. The Fifteen Creative Steps/Guidelines were developed to be use with another where each desire to recreate an aspect of their life but are not interested in exploring creativity and/or necessarily accessing and releasing any one aspect of their creativity let alone exploring the depth and breadth of their unlimited creativity. Nevertheless, one can use the Fifteen Creative Step/Guidelines where their intention is to return to creative play. The unstated assumption behind the Fifteen Creative Steps/Guidelines is that the individuals will continue to use most of their creative power and creative ability in a nonconscious way.

What is provided here is more focused for those individuals who desire to return to a state of creative play and use creative play in their creative endeavors, explore creativity and/or explore the depth and breadth of their own creativity. The unstated assumption behind this approach provided here is that the individuals using this approach ultimate desire to become conscious creators of their experience and the reality of those experiences.

In essence, the Fifteen Creative Steps/Guidelines and the steps provided here cover the same concepts but in a different way.

Concepts for moving creative play to its deepest level (Top)

Creative play and the play of what is symbolized in the heart lead us to the play of Creation and the play that created Creation. As we move our creative play into the play of what is symbolized in the heart, we will find what is inside of us is as infinitely vast, diverse and as complex as the external world we see before our eyes. In fact the inner and the outer are reflections of each other. It has been found there are a variety of concepts that have been compiled as creativity “Building Blocks” that can be used to assist us in developing creative play and that we will need for the duration of the journey if we decide to explore the depth of our creative power. They are available in the topic entitled “Creation Building Blocks.”

Even if we do not choose to explore the depth of our creative power, these concepts are helpful for establishing a state of creative play for any creative endeavor. Ultimately, we will need to explore them in some way as we move along the creative play spectrum. The key to using these concepts to return to creative play and/or the most creative state of being is to begin to explore these concepts in play and then allow oneself to become lost in the play.

The concepts have been arranged as building blocks to be used and pieced together as needed. They can be studied in parallel to the approach provided below, studied separately or used as needed. However, many of the concepts will be needed before we get too far along on the journey and they will carry us through the journey

We can start the journey whenever wish and at any point we find ourselves and we do not need to study these concepts. As said above, the journey is a self teaching journey. We will learn what we need for the next step at the step we currently find ourselves. However, it has been found having an awareness of these concepts makes it easier to learn what we need at the step we find ourselves to prepare ourselves for the next step. (More on .... the building blocks)

An approach to returning to the depth of creative play (Top)

To move toward returning to the most creative state, the following set of steps and related concepts have been found to be the minimum set to take the journey into the depth of our own creative power. They are not steps as such but following the sequence provided provides for an easier use.

They are also not steps in the sense they should be followed by mind. That is, mind trying to create each of these steps. Rather we need to create a style of life and approaching life that allows these to become our way of being.

Look at these as individual lesson that can be studied and practiced much the way one would learn to practice different scales or musical Keys (such as the Key of C, Key of D, etc) on a musical instrument or with the voice. Each scale requires some different figuring of the instrument or change in the voice. Each is practiced separately. Then in the composition to be played or sung, they all come together as needed. Such an approach should be taken with this material. Practice each separately and allow them to come together in improvisational play in the creative endeavors undertaken.

The recommendation made here is to see yourself as becoming a musician and learning to play an instrument, an instrument of creation/Creation. The instrument is you’re your body and your being. It can be seen as a four stringed instrument consisting of a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical string. Each string must be tuned and learned to be played. Then as the musical composition requires, the four string are played together to create a melody. The melody is the life you experience by how you play these four string - either with mind or what is symbolized in the heart.

Creativity perspective and holding our creativity sacred
(Top): First and foremost, we need to adopt a creativity perspective and hold our creativity sacred. Adopting a creativity perspective causes us to focus our attention and awareness to see and observe the creative principles of creation/Creation. Learning to hold our creativity sacred allows us to protect our most important assent of the journey. The Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity material is provided to assist you in developing a creativity perspective and to hold your creativity sacred. The recommendation is to use what is effective in your life to create what you desire.

Clarity of intent
(Top): Unless we are capable of freely entering creative state and have the self confidence to address whatever arises as it arises, we will need to set the intention to allow ourselves to return to this state of play as a creative objective and then clear all the obstacles that stand in our way.

To consciously return to this state of play, that is, step out of mind and allow our creative life energy to lead, we simply get clarity on what we desire to manifest and then set and hold the intention. We need to establish clarity of intention. We need to set a clear intention and hold our intention for the duration of the journey. We need to hold our intention an unwavering focus of attention and awareness allowing our body wisdom and our internal guidance to lead us to create whatever experience we desire. If we do not know how to use and/or access body wisdom and intuitive guidance we will have to spend some time learning how to do so.

To get clarity of intent, it is recommended we write out the intention and iterate it until the words feel correct. Here again, what we feel and what feeling we desire to have is more important that what our mind thinks we want.

What needs to be understood about entering creative play and/or exploring our unlimited creativity is that we may or may not have a clear insight into the path we need to take and what the outcome may look like. As such, all we need to do is set the clearest intention possible and iterate the process as we get further clarity as to what we wish to create.

We need to remember, the process of using intuitive guidance tends to work as though we are crossing a stream using stepping stones in a deep, thick fog. We cannot not see the next step until we take the one directly in front of us. You will have to step into the fog and trust the creative process. We have to be free to become that proverbial fool.

The anxiety of any process is always reduced when we can turn the doing aspects of a project over to someone else. There is a cause effect relationship that if we plant a seed in fertile ground with the correct climate and nutrients it will grow. All we need to do is create the correct process and turn the manifestation of our intention over to the process. Here again, use what is provided here for it will help you along the way to find that correct creative process for what you need to do. Then, of course, allow effectiveness to be your measure of truth and use what is effective in your life.

Give ourselves permission to play
(Top): What needs to be clearly understood, we shut down our ability to feel pain to protect ourselves in one way or another. To reenter creative play, we need to give ourselves permission to play. We need to do something to show our mind that we truly want to return to play. For example, it is suggested that you read and sign the sample permission form which is provided for this use.

Consciously choose to claim our birthright
(Top): To claim our birthright and access and release our unlimited creativity, we have to choose to do so. Although we are entitled to our birthright as a being of unlimited creativity and we may evolve into a state of being where we are fully prepared to accept and be that birthright, we have to choose to become it.

Creation is about choosing to create. Our birthright is to become a conscious creator. Since our birthright is to create our experiences and the reality of our choice, we first have to choose to create something to experience our inherent creativity. If we don’t consciously chose to create something, we cannot consciously exercise our creativity. We need to create from the knowing that we can create any reality of your choice.

We figuratively and literally need to become the Creator of the world we experience and we figuratively and literally need to become the Creation. In allowing ourselves to become both we will experience the fullness and wholeness of creation/Creation. We will become all that is and that arises form that proverbial still point from which all creation forms and in doing so we will experience All That Is, as it is.

As discussed in the “Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective,” Consciousness shattered Itself into an infinite number of fragments in order to create a playmate of Its equal. We are one of these fragments destined to become a creator/Creator fully equal to the Creator in every way including losing ourselves in our own creation/Creation.

To become the Creator, we need to choose to have that experience of the Creator. Unless we choose for it to happen it will not happen because creation is about learning to use our free will to consciously create the reality of our choice. Unless we choose, nothing will happen. We can wait for an eternity for our birthright to be given to us and nothing will happen. We have to choose to make it happen and take full responsibility for what we create.

One of the more powerful and effective techniques we can use to fully claim our birthright is as follows. Set the intention to experience our creative passion and to create something larger than ourselves that transcends our enculturated ego and that is based on something we love to do

Consider exploring our limitations in the area of question
(Top): We cannot always solve or overcome a problem as it exists in reality because we cannot surface what we nonconsciously believe about a topic. Since what we seek is buried in the nonconscious mind, we do not know were to look for the beliefs that may govern that topic because of how beliefs are so integrated and interwoven. But, we can create a way to surface what we believe about any topic, subject or aspect of our internal self or the external creation we experience.

By creating an imaginary world or an imaginary space through our creative imagination, we can explore any and all aspects of a given topic. How we response and feel as to what the imaginary creation presents will allow is to bring those feelings back into the real world and understand what we believe about any topic and how our creative life energy is or is not free to flow.

The way we do this is to creates an external experience and then responds to that creation as if it is real. Since the experience is created, we will they see how we are perceiving our experiences and be able to see the filters we are using to color the experiences that we have. However, what we feel is real and is the reality we experience. That may be frightening and cause us to withdrawal from the experience we are creating. In any case, as we begins to see and understand the filters we have, we can begin to see the reality of what is, as it is. This is the essence of the use of metatheatric performance in our creative endeavors.

Step out of mind and follow our intuitive guidance
(Top): Since mind only knows that past, in any creative endeavor we have to be willing to step out of mind as to what we think allowing ourselves to move as close as possible to entering that childlike state of play and allow our intuitive guidance to lead our efforts.

We then need to ask our intuitive guidance a series of questions similar to “What does the first step I need to take look like to manifest this intention, or what does the manifestation of this intention look like, or what must I do?” Then take the input from our intuitive guidance as literal, for it is the best characterization of the energy behind the intention that our mind can provide, and play it out as real. We need to construct a literal, figurative or symbolic set of actions that best represent what our intuition provided. Preferable, do it literally. If for some reason we can’t do it literally, do it meta- theatrically or symbolically. This is extremely important. Energy must be processed and allowed to dissipate. That is, it must be acted out physically in some way in some physical experience to dissipate.

To make a clear flow path for all our creative life energy, we will need to allow the energy of the images of our intuitive guidance to be processed. The actions we take will help to allow the energy to flow and be dispersed. The greater the emotion in what is done the greater the energy dissipates. As we act on what is provided by the intuitive guidance, feelings, thoughts, ideas, obstructions and all kinds of things will arise that are somehow associated with our intention. In this case, the intention is to return to that play of what is symbolized in the heart that lies at the Source of Creation. We will need to process what arise. That is create a physical experience where the energy can be dissipated. As we playfully work through, synthesize, and organize our experiences, we will find we know what we need to do and how to it in order to manifest our intention. We then simply do what is required and continually use and iterate the process as we proceed on our journey to regain our creative play. What we will find is that we get there earlier that we could have imagined.

Surrender
(Top): In stepping out of mind to follow our intuitive guidance we are, in essence, surrendering to the flow of the energy giving rise to our desired creation. We need to do what lies at hand doing what needs to be done because it is the correct thing to do,

In surrendering, we need to be fully present at one with the energy manifesting and sustaining our being with no limits, no boundaries and no expectations that are the usual control techniques of the mind to control the energy of the universe. Unless we experience the surrender to our creative life energy we will not come to the understanding of how the creation process actually works. The reason for this is our mind will be interfering, judging, interpreting and, in general, imposing itself in the process preventing us from experiencing the process as it truly is.

Trust
(Top): In surrendering to the flow of energy giving rise to our creation, we need to trust the creative process. We must fully trust the outcome to destiny that our intention will be met.

Learning to trust the creative process is not easy and not something we will learn to do by reading a book or information from any source. To learn to trust the creative process we need to create something and use the process and see it for what it is, as it is..

We can start small and attempt to move to bigger and bigger creations. However, in choosing to start small, mind will gain control over the effort. Whatever mind chooses will be something mind thinks is safe to choose. Hence mind is in control. The best thing to do is to find someone who will support our creative endeavor and then choose to create something we think is impossible. We don’t choose something that is necessarily impossible to create. Another could have done it before us. But it is something that appears impossible for us to create.

For example, learning to fly or sky dive could be a starting point. It is something we, as an individual, may currently think is impossible fo us to do. But then once we do it, we have stepped out of mind and have stepped past what we thought and believed.

Creating passion
(Top): Nothing happens without energy. Creating passion is about accessing the necessary energy to create.

The creative life energy of the universe is passionate and is passionate beyond belief. We will have to live and be that passion. The energy of the universe is a creative life energy and as life, it wishes to sustain itself, propagate itself and create life. That is why living organisms have a strong will to live and protect themselves and to procreate. The creative life energy within its being wants to sustain itself and continue into future.

We need to look for our creative passion. But it is not accessible from the mind but through our feelings what give us life. We need to access that flow of energy that brought us into life and creative and sustains our live. We need to begin to experience it as much as possible in the spontaneous and innocent childlike play of discovery and exploration.

The more of our energy we can put into such a state of being, the greater our creative potential. Alternatively said, the more passionate we can become about what we are creating and being in this state of play and wonderment, the greater the likelihood of manifesting our intention and the greater the likelihood of us revealing our true creative potential. The more we move away from the freedom of that play the more difficult it is to create what we desire.

Remove expectations and allowing all cards to be played
(Top): This has been said and characterized several different ways. No matter how it is said, in essence it is the same - we must move out of thinking and let ourselves be available to just response. In doing so our flexibility increases dramatically and we are able to move and respond to what presents itself.

To consciously create our reality and the experiences we have and explore the depth and breath of our own being, we must allow the universe to play with a full deck of cards. That is, we must allow the universe to have all the options that it chooses to play and we cannot keep any of the cards off the table. We keep cards off the table by our judgements, fears, biases and the like. That is why it is so important to be out of mind.

This expression, playing with a full deck, comes from the fact that any time we play a game based on the use of cards. It can be a deck of cards like playing cards, a tarot deck or simply a deck of cards that we draw from a stack in a game such as the “Take A Chance” and“Community Chest.” stack of cards in the game called “Monopoly.” If any stack of cards is missing a card, we are not really playing the game as designed. We have to allow all the options that have been worked into the game that we are playing. So too with conscious creating and creating the reality of our choice. We have to allow all the options. We have to allow all the cards to be on the table.

What keeps the cards off the table is what we judge as acceptable and not acceptable, good and bad, right or wrong and especially what we like and don’t like. We need to understand that the Universe only uses what we allow on the table. Any judgement we hold forces the Universe to work within that judgement. To allow all the cards to be played, we need to take our judgements and expectations off the table and allow the universe to be free to arrange things as it sees fit. The Universe is wiser than we are whether we believe it or not. Look at the world that has been created without our assistance and the assistance of the human mind. That same wisdom that created the world as we experience it is available to us but only if we allow it to be available.

Whether we realize it or not, there is a way we create an illusion in our life that fails to allow us to see reality for what it is, as it is. We then use that illusion to create the reality of our choice from what is. The way we do this is that we create a perspective about how the universe operates and then do or do not let the universe have the freedom of moment to change our current world into the form that we desires.

To create what we desire, we must be willing to let go of everything and anything that stands in the way of that desired creation. More often than not it is not the universe that stands in our way but our own mind. The universe is infinitely intelligent and yet infinitely stupid. The Universe can give us exactly what we want as we want it because it has the intelligence to figure it out how to get it if we let it. However it is infinitely stupid in that it can’t figure out how to get around the obstacles that we place in its path. It can overcome all the obstacles that are not of our making but It can’t get past our obstacles for it will respect and not violate our free will.

It has to be that way. All physical expression is dualistic. We are in the physical world so the Universe, God, the All That is, or whatever we like to call “It,” that Cosmic Consciousness from which all forms, that we experience will be dualistic. A long as we are in a physical body we will experience it that way for that is the nature of physical Creation.

This is an extremely important concept. The universe in its infinite wisdom cannot get around the obstacles that we ourselves create that interfere with what we desire. Only we can remove them. It most cases, that means stepping out of our mind and ego and allow our intuitive guidance and body wisdom to lead. We need to figuratively and literally put all the cards on the table and allow the Universe to play with a full deck. It does need to be noted that it is us, not the universe that is trying to play without a full deck.

Not doing
(Top): There is an effect of telling our story over and over again. The effect is to create the future in the image of the past. We need to interrupt the story and not continue the process if we hope to escape that story. The easiest way to escape its effect is to do something other than our story allows or something that is not how we define ourselves. It is to do a not doing. Not doing is to do other than who and what we think we are. It applies to movement at each and every level of being. It applies to body movements in addition to ways of being for body movements are ways of being. Not doing allows us to see and experience the world differently than what mind has experienced or it is based on doing other than what mind wants and how mind has identified itself.

Create the process we desire
(Top): If we understands the creative/creation process we can address creating a process to manifest our creation in the quickest time, and gentlest way possible. The “Building Blocks” are many of the principles that have been observed within the creative/creation process. Many can be brought together in any particular way to create what we desires. Others, of course, follow the sequence of events in the creative/creation process.

When we create, we follow the creative/creation process and apply these concepts in way or another. When we don’t consciously understand the creative process we apply them nonconsciously in an unknowing fashion. In doing so, we becomes the servant of the process whether we realize it or not. In this case we become bound by the process because we don’t know what can be changed without changing the essence of the process.

In understanding the creative/creation process, we understand there is certain sequence to events and certain concepts and principles are more important at certain time than other time. For example, the anxiety of the chaos of creation, and the sacrifice of creation occur a specific times in the process. In some ways the process is “hurry up and wait.” There may be a large amount of destruction of things in our life and then the it seems to take forever for the new to emerge.

It is much like planting seeds. In spring much efforts into digging the soil and planting the seeds. Then we must wait the entire growing seeing for the harvest to come. In may ways creation is like this. There are times of great activity and then we must wait. If we understand the creative/creation process we can being to structure our life around the process and take much of the anxiety and worry out of the process. Additionally, we can be better prepared for times of high activity and find ways to amuse ourselves while we wait for the creation to grow and bear fruit. Then of course at harvest time, we can expect to be very busy.

We may not be able to change the creative/creation process which we need to experience. But, if we apply the creation principles such as those found in the Building Blocks consciously, we become the creator of their experience at many different levels and make our life more enjoyable even through things like the chaos and sacrifice of creation.

Give freely to the sacrifice
(Top): The essence of creation is to transform an existing manifestation of energy into a new form to create the creation we desire. This is the required sacrifice of creation within the creative/creation process. If it doesn’t occur, the energy will not be made available for the new creation.

There are a variety of ways that energy can be processed. In general, the energy at any level must be allow to flow to completion or into manifestation. Energy flows according to the path of least resistance.

If the flow of energy is blocked in one direction, it will flow into another. Energy that is blocked subconsciously will flow according to the path of least resistance according to the beliefs of how we creating our currently reality. The results may or may not be pleasant depending on what we believes and how the energy needs to flow to dissipate.

In any case, as perceive by the conscious mind, the energy will be seen flowing in an uncontrolled fashion. However, that is not the case. It is just flowing the path of least resistance according to the obstruction and landscape we create within our own being and reflect it externally by how and what we think and believe. By adjusting ourselves to the flow and be open to changing our beliefs as necessary, we can greatly reduce the pain, anxiety, and seemingly uncontrollableness of the flow.

Become aware of what we are experiencing
(Top): Since we do not know what we subconsciously and unconsciously believe (otherwise it would be a conscious awareness) we needs to realize we are not be seeing reality for what it is. Rather what we perceive is colored by our nonconscious beliefs.

What needs to be realized is that in any situation that we experiences, the only thing that we really know is real, and as real, is how and what we feel. Our body and what we feel does not lie. Our mind may mask what we feel but what we feel is revealing the truth of the situation. We may have many opinions, judgements, and thoughts as about what we experience. But the only thing that is real are the sensations we have. They are showing how the energy is actually being dissipated in manifestation.

Normally we have a real experience and then respond to that experience based on how we view ourselves and our external world thinking we are experience the reality of what is. Rather than viewing reality for what it is, as it is, we only experience the reality we ourselves create within ourselves. We are universe unto ourselves whether we realize it or not. But what we feel is real and we have created it in some way. We need to explore the feelings and body sensations we have in any given situation for they tell us what is really happening.

What we need to understand is that our inner world is reflected in the outer world. What we experience externally is a reflection of something internal to us. Many of the experiences we have externally arise from the desire we have to experience Physical Creation as a human being.  That is, they are only experience to give us the human experience. Yet, many other experiences we have are specific experience we desire to have to either meet the intention for our life or we believe we need to have become of how we have been programmed to approach life.

By becoming aware of what we are experiencing we can go with and check with our intuitive guidance to see what is cause the experience to arise. If we focus our attention and awareness on what we experience and pull the string we can surface many of the beliefs and patterns of think of both our enculturated mind and transcendental mind. Those that serve us we can retrain. Those that do not serve us we can choose to change and/or replace with beliefs that better serve us and/or allow us to create a life worth living.

Address what arises from the past
(Top): What keeps us from entering spontaneous and innocent childlike play, are all the reasons why we lost the ability to be in this state. To get there, we will have to work though all the reasons why we lost our ability to be in this state of play or all the reason why we have chosen not to live in this state of being. Hence, we will need to return to the issues of child hood.

Additionally, the deeper and boarder the creative play we wish to enter, the deeper and broader the issues we face. There is a very good chance that experiences from one or more previous existences that still reside in one’s memory. They may also surface for resolution. Their surfacing can be quite surprising and startling to the individual. One reason is that they will have no understanding from this current life as to where these memories come from. A second reason is we may be very surprise that we carry such memories and they are very puzzling if we carry no beliefs in this current life time that we lived before in some other realm of existence or even in Physical Creation.

As for what surfaces in response to our intention that do not come from this life, whether we believe these memories are previous human lives, memories that lie within the genetic composition of our body, simply energetic aspects of the human collective that we have tapped into or simply the energy of reality itself expressing itself in us, it doesn’t matter. Relative to us being able to live in a state of spontaneous innocent childlike play, they are real as any memory we have in this life and must be addressed if we are going to have the freedom to be in a state of innocent child like play.

To create anything that we desire, we must somehow address all the obstacles (perceived or real) that stand between our current state and hich we desire to create. With a clear intention to access the quickest and gentlest way, our intuitive guidance and body wisdom will lead us on this path. We only need to be willing to surrender to our intuitive guidance and body wisdom. This, of course, means we need to learn to become comfortable out of mind.

For a particular creation, we only faces the obstacles to that particular creation manifesting and being sustained in your existing world. We only need to address what arises. We don’t need to go out of our way to explore our past or all the reasons that may have cause our creative play to shut down.

There are two sets of issue that will arise. One are all the issues that act as obstacles to the manifestation of what we desire to create. The second set of issues are all the obstacles that do not allow us to sustain what you have created. They are different and each set will need to be addressed as they arise. The method use on one will not necessarily work on the other.

The obstacles that stand in our way are usually the response patterns we developed and use to protect ourselves from harm or injury both as a child and as an adult. Many of them response patterns that we use to be liked and accepted, initially as a child and then later as an adult. We will need to explore each of our patterns as they arise for they usually arise in sequence rather than all at once.

What we will find is that each and every experience of the past that is binding our creative life energy does not readily surface. Rather the experiences will rise either collectively as a composite “best fit,” “best representative experience”or as selected real experiences that are most representative of what needs to be addressed. The most energetic items surfaces first and then the other obstruction surface sequentially according to the energy that they hold. However, the subsequent memories actually seem more powerful and seem to bind more energy because they lie deeper in our psyche and are controlling our creative life energy at deeper levels that the most energetic. The most energetic memories are away on the surface trying to express themselves and free the bound energy. That is in fact, why they are on the surface. It is only our denial of what we feel and sense in any given situation that keeps them bound. As we give ourselves permission to play and let go, they come screaming to the surface for resolution.

The less energetic memories in many cases do not arise until we experience some environment that allows them to surface. This is why certain locations and/ certain types and kind of experiences are more powerful at surfacing the experience. We may find we go our whole life thinking we have done well at learning how to enter a state of spontaneous innocent child like play and then all of a sudden in a particular situation we have an experienced that surfaces a huge amount of blocked energy. This is why doing a ritual or other simulation such as a metatheater of what our life may look like is so powerful. They help to create an environment to allow these deeper energies to surface in the playfulness of the ritual rather than unexpectedly surfacing in a real situation. To surface these deeper and less energetic memories that are binding our creative life energy, we either need a real experience in the proper environment or a simulated experience in an equivalent environment.

Relative to the ability to surface energy binding memories, reality and a virtual reality are one and the same as far as the memory is concerned. The only issue is that when the memory surfaces do we address what needs to be addressed and release the energy. Or, do we continue to deny what needs to be done and push the energy back down below the surface.

What needs to be understood is that energy follows the path of least resistance. Our creative life energy that is flows out from the inner most realms of our being to be expressed in the world must flow past or around all these energy binding memories. If the energy is not able to flow freely to response to the situation at hand but rather must flow as channeled by these memories we greatly reduce our ability to response and greatly reducing the options available to us. As we address these experience and act according to our intuitive guidance, we will feel ourselves reconstituting and consolidating our energy. We will feel stronger and we will feel more energetic. We will see and experience much a greater latitude in our life and many more options open to we than what we could have previously imagined.

If you are going too fast for our mind to assimilate and digest all that is happening to us in this process we may feel overwhelmed, suffocated or drowning by the amount of energy that is bursting forth within our being. Again, we only need to follow our intuitive guidance and it will lead us safely. If we jump in with our mind, our mind will response from a perspective and habits of what worked in the past and that is exactly what we are trying to destroy. If our mind steps in, we have a very good chance at manifesting a wounding, an accident, an illness, a disease or some other life disrupting event that forces us to shift the direction of our life at least temporarily. How big the wound, accident, illness, disease and the like depends on how great the mismatch between where our energy is trying to flow and where our mind wants or tries to control an direct its flow.

If however we flow with the energy and can stay out of mind, from the mind’s perspective we will be riding a roll-a-coaster, going up and down, in and out and all over the place and probably will have equivalent experiences of the Dark Night of the Soul. From the heart’s perspective we will be in a joyful and blissful flow that remains with us no matter what happens in our external world.

What needs to be understood about the memories, feelings and sensations that arise in relationship to the energy that is bound is that the energy is not released unless we act on what arises. We are not in control of the process that cause the energy to surface because the energy is flowing in the path of least resistance. When it surfaces, we can be in control as to how we choose to act on that energy but not how and what it surfaces. However, we must have sufficient mindfulness and awareness to be able to choose to act on the energy to dissipate the energy before the habits of the past attempt to gain control.

Our first response, or rather our automatic response, will almost always be out of habit and will be to somehow suppress the energy and/or otherwise deny the energy. That is what we have done in the past and why the energy is still present within our being. For example, many times we get body sensations but rather than asking the sensation what information it is trying to express about what we are experiencing, we deny the sensation.

The best way to dissipate the energy is to allow the energy to lead and to ask our intuitive guidance as to what you need to do dissipate the energy. Simply ask something like, “What does the dissipation of this energy look like?,” “What do I need to do to dissipate this energy?” or “What does the next thing that needs to happen look like/” Then act on what you get as literally as possible trusting it is what needs to happen.

We know that we will be trying to reestablish our ability to be in spontaneous childlike play and we know past memories and experiences that are obstructing this play are going to arise. We just need need to address what arises. The awareness we need to address what arises and the intention behind our actions can themselves lead us to the correct space and correct individuals for what we will need to do.

Take ownership
(Top): We need to take ownership for our life. To take ownership is to consciously establish the blueprint as to how our creation will unfold. In addition to creating and holding a clear intention it is to imprint our memory and catalyze our actions. The two primary ways to create an memory imprint and/or catalyze our actions is to use rituals and metatheater. Each of these are discussed in the topics “Ritual and Ceremony” and “Metatheatric performance” respectively.

Become unconditional
(Top): Mind lives in a world of conditions, control and expectations. Creative play is about become innocent and spontaneous to response to what is, as it is. To do we must become unconditional. We must drop all our demands and expectations. We must let go of all hope that any happiness will come from anything externally. We have to look to the happiness to come from within our being.

We are already are complete and need nothing external to us for our own internal happiness. We need to look to create true freedom. We need to allow each person that enters our life to come like the wind and leave like the wind - completely free and unattached. Anything that they bring into our life should be unmasked and unexpected fully savored and experienced in the moment. Then released to allow the next experience to occur.

Summary (Top)

The goal of the approach described here is to see our whole past, both its pleasure and its pain, the good things and the bad thing, and realize nothing has touched our awareness. It remains as empty as the sky, utterly void of all that we have experienced. Similarly we can see the future and the threat of pain or the desire for joy is meaningless. Nothing leaves it mark on our awareness. It remains unchanged. In this awareness the journey is complete and we remain untouched within from all that we experience. In this awareness the future becomes meaningless. All is simply consciousness/Consciousness at play with itself/Itself. True play has no meaning. It is simply play. The meaning to play is the experience of the play, not what the play creates. The only real choice our mind has in this awareness is to: go to sleep; forget what is learned. learned wake up and enjoy the experience at hand and allow the journey to start all over again. This is what we do, have always done and always will do. The only question we need to ask ourselves is, “Is what we are dong creating a life worth living?”

If the answer is “yes,” we need to realize, there is no time but this time, there is no moment but this moment. This moment is the perfect expression of the beliefs that we hold at this instant. We are perfect, we are the perfect expression of our beliefs. If we like who we are, enjoy life, have a deep enthusiasm for life and a passion to be, and our current experience of Creation serves us and creates a life worth living, we have found our bliss and we need do nothing. We should enjoy it and make a toast and give gratitude to the experience of life and wonderment of the universe. We already are our heart’s desire.

If the answer is, “no,: then we probably feel life can be better. We then we may want to consider exploring our creative power and creative ability to create a life worth living. In entering the journey of exploring our creative power and creative ability, we may want to enjoy it and make a toast and give gratitude to the experience of life and wonderment of the universe for in the end, we are only consciousness/Consciousness at play with itself/Itself.
