Going within is essential for the journey of reconstitution. Quite simply, we need to be able to unplug ourselves from our external world to learn our own truth and what exactly it looks like. In going within to do our exploration, we may find we are pulled to isolate ourselves and/or isolate ourselves from various aspects of our external life. We may need to spend an enormous effort and time exploring our internal world without the distractions of the external world.

To go within, we will need both the time and a place to do so. However, there is a right way and not so right ways to go within. The not so right ways are to allow our mind to determine what it thinks the withdrawal and isolation should be. The right way is to allow our intuitive guidance and body wisdom lead us to it.

It does need to be noted here it is said a right way and not so right way. To withdraw and isolate ourselves the way mind thinks we should is not necessarily wrong. It is just not the optimum way and the way that will give us the fastest results. Here again, we are involved in a creative endeavor and mind only knows the past. Current mind, the mind we experience as a result of the experiences of our current life, has never consciously experienced the truth depth and breadth of our creative ability and creative power. Mind coming into existence is one of the primary reason we lost our ability to be in the most creative state of play. So, mind of itself, will not be able to show us how to reconstitute our creative ability and creative power.

Many have come to believe the physical conditions is somehow an undesired or less that a divine experience. Because there is pain, there is the perception there is something wrong with Physical Creation. They see the needs and distractions of the body as an issue that keeps us from stepping into our creative ability and creative power and/or to obtain enlightenment, achieve Nirvana or access Heaven here in Physical Creation. So they see withdraw from the world and/or the body as a way to go within and become free. But to do so really denies the whole purpose of Creation and for being here and denied the wisdom of our creator/Creator whomever that creator/Creator may be.

We cannot have it both ways. Either the creator/Creator knew what it/It was doing when it created Physical Creation or it/It didn’t. If it/It did know what it was doing, who are we to judge whether or not there is something wrong with Physical Creation as it is. If the creator/Creator didn’t know what it was doing and created at inadequate Physical Creation, then it/It is mot much of an all powerful creator/Creator is it/It?

Similarly, as a result of the reported experience possible through meditation, many chose meditation as means to go within. But meditation is insufficient to do the job for several reasons. One, and probably the most important, is that meditation carries the baggage of having been chosen by the mind. To choose meditation because what we think it can or will do for us, is the same as doing any other activity determined by our mind. We may get a wonderful experience from it, but it an experience created by the mind none the less. It needs to be remembered that in a creative endeavor, mind cannot lead us to where it has not been. Whatever experience we create through meditation if we choose meditation is only another experience created by mind.

There is also the issue that times have changed and what needs to achieved does require slightly different techniques. It needs to be remembered each human is a product of the collective  and the collective understanding of what it means to be human has changed over time and continues to change. At the time and place when meditation was developed the ego was not as strong in self identification as it is now exists in the Western world and rapidly coming into existence in many non western societies. In the past, individuals tended to see themselves as the servant of their society, their king or whomever ruled their society. The concept of individual rights and a destiny for the individual was not as common as it is today. Today, in Western society, there is the belief the individual has certain inalienable rights and the freedom to choose what they experience. How the individual defines themselves is somewhat different than the way and individual would defines themselves when meditation was first created.

When meditation was first created, it was a technique sufficient to create the inner awareness and has been used by many successfully for centuries. However, the ego that has developed through the current Western line of thinking tends to be very strong, very masculine. It needs a more active approach for its transformation. In the past, the ego was much like an egg in that it had a thin shell easily broken with the slightest tap. The reason for this is that collectively, humans were very much at the mercy of the world around them. Most were never able to develop a strong ego for the experiences of the world continually reinforced the belief that anyone individual was not in charge of their life. In these experiences, the ego never really felt that it was in control of its world. The ego always seemed to somehow be surrendering to powers well beyond their ability to control them.

Modern technology has changed all of this. It now lies within the individual human’s ability to control and change the world in which they live. Our egos have begun to believe it is in control of what is happening. Although this is true for we do create our experiences and the reality of those experience, it is not true in the way the ego has come to believe it is true. That is, the individual does control its world and its reality for we are a world unto ourselves. However, it is part of a much larger process only playing a role in that process.

In any case, the modern ego has become more like a coconut than an egg. As a coconut, its outer shell can be quite strong requiring a rather large hammer forcibly striking the coconut to shatter its shell. On this note of the strong shell of the ego, the thickness of the of the ego, has nothing to do with whether a person is raised in a traditional Eastern or Western culture/society. The thickness arise from the evolution of the collective human consciousness and the human being thinking and, more importantly, acting as though he is separate from, and somehow more important than, the rest of nature. This separation of the man from nature runs very strong in both Eastern and Western traditions. The whole concept of spiritual leads to this separation. The prevalence of human thinking that spirit is somehow separated from the physical is only the ego and the ego shell of the collective human consciousness revealing itself as to who and what it thinks it is.

From a reconstitution view point, meditation is best used as a tool to help learn to focus our attention and awareness and establishes the ability to sit and the ability to watch. Especially to watch and observe our inner world. Meditation itself will not shatter the strong ego shell of the modern world. It will take something else in addition to the meditation. Given the nature of today’s ego, it will take a combination of such things as contemplation, a cause-effect  review to pull the string as to the why something occurs the way it does as opposed to another, learning how to use body wisdom and intuitive guidance, use of clear intention and the variety of other concepts such as those discussed within these Creation Building Blocks will be needed to help one fully transcend the ego identity.

To truly know and understand that we are infinitely complex and the creative ability and creative power available to us it is foolish to think that even understanding one hundred and six Building Blocks will allow us to have a complete understanding of who and what you are. All the concepts in the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity material are only the starting point for our journey to discover who and what you really are and the depth and breath of your true nature.

On this point, if there is the feeling of being overwhelmed with the volume of concepts in the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity material, most probably there will be the experience of feeling as though we will be suffocated or drown when we do see the truth of reality. Yet to see the truth of reality, we must let the ego die - however we wish it to die or let it die, but it must die. Isolation is one such way the ego has traditionally died. On this note, if we try and choose how our ego will die, our journey will be long and painful. If however, we allow our intuitive guidance to lead us to its death, we can have a gentle transformation for our intuitive guidance and body wisdom has our best interest at heart. Our mind has only its ego at its heart and it is not always in the best interest of our total being.

In the journey of reconstitution isolation is part of the journey and always has been. It is not uncommon for an individual to seemingly have isolation forced upon them to create the space for transformation necessary to call back their creative power. For example, modern individuals who have undergone such transformation to transcend aspects of their ego such a Gandhi or Nelson Mandella spent time in prison in solitary confinement. Individuals like Buddha, St Paul, and others of ancient times were isolated in one way or another during their transformation. This confinement and isolation gave them the time and opportunity to resolve many of their inner conflicts because they had isolation forced upon them.

These individuals, past or present, all said, in one way or another that the isolation was the most important time of their lives. It is because this isolation is so valuable to their inner experience and has ways been part of the process, the concept of going to the desert, to the mountain cave or some other form of isolation is a quite common practice in many esoteric traditions. However, the isolation that is required will come when it is required in the way it is required. We cannot force ourselves into isolation and elect to isolation ourselves. It does not work for the isolation we create is of the mind and ego and in reality an ego trip. Nature itself will force the isolation when it is necessary for it is part of the journey

The isolation that is force on us does not necessarily mean we goes off into the desert or some other remote location or we travels to some other part of the world. It means we must withdraw from the aspects of our life that are causing us to remain bound to the past. What it looks like will vary from person to person. The problem is we do not allow ourselves to experience the isolation when it is required and when it presents itself. For most of us, we don’t recognize the call when it comes. As a result we fight again the isolation rather than accepting what is.

Today, we are not taught to listen and follow our intuitive guidance and learn the inner language. Today many of us do not take the time for an in depth inner search so we are not aware when the journey itself requires us to become isolated. The “regular” people in any given society, of which we are apart, have no time for the inner search because we are caught up in what needs to be done to survive. It doesn’t matter whether it be fighting animals and nature as in ancient times to find the food to live, or we are fighting the rampant materialism and success criteria of the modern world. We are on a treadmill of survival, ignoring the joys of the evolution of our own being. It can only be overcome by taking time to know who we are. But to take time means we will have to step out of mind to step off the treadmill of life to see there is an alternative way.

We have to choose to step of the treadmill of life in whatever time and place we find ourselves to do the inner journey. In doing so, the universe will respond and if isolation is needed, whole or in part, it will provide that isolation. Whether we look at that isolation as justly or unjustly being put in prison, a traumatic illness and recovery period, or a job changes that seemingly isolates us from the world or takes us off the “success” path. It doesn’t matter how we perceive what is happening. If we choose to reconstitute ourselves, the universe will respond and provide what is necessary. We only have to follow its guidance and it will speak to us thorough our body wisdom and that intuitive guidance. That same wisdom that grew our body from an infant into an adult will guide the grown of our inner awareness from the infant and childlike state of the ego as it currently is into a conscious awareness of who and what we really are.
