Setting and acting on an intention
to reconstitute our creative ability and creative power

The big question
Setting the intention
Consulting our intuitive guidance
Returning to a state of childlike play
An issue of healing

Setting the intention to reconstitute our creative ability and creative power is different than most intentions we set to create something in our life. The intention we need to set has four parts.

  • We need to set the intention to reconstitute our creative life energy and regain our creative power and creative ability.

  • We to set the intention to explore any nonconscious intentions which may be diverting the flow of our creative life energy away from what gives us life and in all aspects of our being

  • We need to be willing to return to as state of being similar to which we entered this life. That is, a state of being of spontaneous and innocent childlike play of discovery and exploration of each and every aspect of our being - spiritual, mental, emotional and physical

  • Clarity on what we desire to create when we act to reconstitute our creative ability and creative power and why we desire to create it.

  • The intention can also be adjusted for other considerations such as to make the journey as gentle as possible and/or for those in our life who do not like what we are being coming are lead to where they are safe and secure.

The big question (Top)

The big question we face in setting this intention is how much of our creative power and creative ability we wish to reconstitute and consolidate. In realizing we are pulling our creative power and creative ability back from what we created in and with our life, we can cause our whole life to collapse. How big a transformation of our life we will face totally depends on how far out of alignment what we create is from the intention for our life. It depends on how much of our creative life energy has been directed into activities that have not honored and held our creativity sacred. Rather they have robbed us our creative life energy and/or held/hold our creative spirit captive. For some, their whole life will collapse. For these individual, the magnitude of the change may just be too great. For other, there will be nothing out of the ordinary.

Only we can answer the question as to how much of our creative power and creative ability we reconstitute. The recommendation is to go with what feels correct. If we chose to make the journey to explore and discover our creative passion no matter how narrow and shallow we go or how deep or broad we go, we need to give ourselves permission to do so. It is recommend some type of written authorization statement documenting our choice to manifest the intention that we set be created. It can be as simple as “I give myself permission to manifest my intention to....” or as elaborate as we feel necessary. The permission statement we write and our intention should be witnessed by an someone who is willing to fully support our journey. It also tells them, what they will be supporting.

Obtaining support from another or using another is discussed in the topics, “Support for, and getting support from, another,” “The commitment of those who work with us,” and “To choose or not to chose a teacher?”

Setting the intention (Top)

The topic, “To set an intention” provides some thoughts and recommendations as to how to set an intention. In addition to what is provided in that topic deep consideration should be given to the following.

Acting to reconstitute our creative power and creative ability is no simply effort and is a journey that can take quite some time. The topic, “How long the journey of reconstitution,” provides a discussion on how long the journey may take and how one might go about shortening the journey. However, no matter how long the journey takes, to create anything there are five requirements. One require is to have the passion and the energy to do what needs to be done for the duration of the journey.

One way to help get that passion is to construct an appropriate ritual and/or metatheater where we catalyze ourselves for our journey. The memory of the ritual and/or metatheater can be accessed for the duration of the journey to inspire us to continue forward. Even without the ritual and/or metatheater acting as a catalyst is can serve us in two ways. One is to consolidate our thinking as to exactly what we wish to create. The other is to act as if we drew a line in the sand over which we step separating our past to which we will not return from our future into which we have stepped. The ritual and/or metatheater can also be used to address some of the topics discussed below such as acting on and honoring the intuitive guidance we get.

We will need to pull the string on the intention we hold and look at exactly what is motivating us to act. Some of the types and kinds of question we need to ask ourselves are as follows:

  • What is my intention?

  • Why do I hold this intention - what do I really seek?

  • What am I desiring to create and why?

  • What would or does success look like to or for me in achieving this intention?

  • Is what I desire to create and the way I wish to create it in any way is in opposition to the intention or purpose that brought me into incarnation?

  • How important is my intention and the success of my intention - what am I willing to give up to manifest my intention and achieve success?

It setting our intention, we need to remember that everyone is unique. Everyone has unique methods for creating the reality that they currently experience. We each have a unique creative passion that we use to create our experiences. Our creative passion is the key to what is symbolized by our heart. Our creative passion is what causes us to long for oneness and/or wholeness, long for the beloved/Beloved, and even fuels anything else we desire when mind overlays what it wants. Our creative passion is what allows us to be both the creator and the embodiment of our creation as expressed in, or by, our unique creative passion. We only need to ask ourselves to allow the key to our unique creative passion to be revealed and either be given to us or show us where and how to get it.

As we work to get clarity on our intention, our intuitive guidance will tell us what we need to learn and, within the overall process, how and when we need to learn it. As we get clarity, we should write our intention down and look to make sure the words accurately reflect what we intend. To know whether our intention is correct for what we wish to create, we will know by how it “feels.” There will be a feeling about what we are attempting to do such that we will know if it is correct or whether we need to do a little more exploring as to what it is we really desire to create.

Consulting our intuitive guidance (Top)

To reconstitute our creative ability and creative power, requires us to pull back our creative life energy from all aspects of our life where we have thrust out to create one thing or another that is somehow robbing and or depleting the flow of our creative life energy. This effort includes surfacing our nonconscious intentions that caused and/or were the occasion to originally create what we have created. It requires us to create a composite intention for our life that allows us to optimize our creative ability and creative power. To do these we need to explore any nonconscious intention we hold that divert our creative life energy from the intention for our life. Since they are nonconscious, we will have to either allow life events to surface them or consult our intuitive guidance and go exploring for them.

In setting our intention to explore the nonconscious, we will need to ask our body wisdom to communicate with us. We need to give permission for our mind to move aside and allow our body to feel and know its wisdom. We need to ask our consciousness to know in some way when our mind is masking a body feeling or acting as an imposter creating a feeling. The natural response of our ego is to maintain its identity. It will not always be willing for us to surface memories that it has used to determine its identity to have the memory changed. So we can expect mind to lead us astray from time to time and/or offer resistance as to what our intuitive guidance and/or body wisdom is communicating to us.

We will need to state something to the equivalent of, “I give permission for my body and its wisdom to speak to me and to let my me know when my mind is masking any body response and/or feeling or where mind is imposing itself over my intuitive guidance in any why.” We the need to ask ourselves and our intuitive guidance the following types of questions.
• Where and why have I blocked my body wisdom?
• Where and why have I shutdown my feelings or the ability to feel?

In doing so, we need to need to capture the images, thoughts, feelings and/or body sensations that arise in response to these questions and take action in some way to remove whatever is not allowing us to be open to our body wisdom and what we feel.

Returning to a state of childlike play (Top)

Exploring the nonconscious mind requires us to go into both the mental and body memories from the earliest days of our life, or even into other lives, which we hold and that in some way or another bind our creative life energy in past experiences where the energy was never fully dissipated and released. This includes both painful and pleasurable experiences. It is to become a pliable and malleable new born in all aspects of our being to be recast based on the what we now desire to create with a consolidated and coherent creative ability and creative power.

We ultimately need to return to a state of being similar to when we entered life. It is to return to the most powerful creative state of being. It is a state of being where we are free to enter spontaneous and innocent childlike play to discovery and explore any aspect of Creation at each and every level of our being - spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Exactly what will need to be explore will depend on how, where, and why we have diverted the flow of our creative life energy from the intention for our life and the type and kind of cage we have created that holds our creative spirit captive.

One approach to returning to a state of play is addressed in the topic, “A practical method to returning to creative play

An issue of healing (Top)

Since we are probing our nonconscious intentions and memories, we would not be surprised as any body response we get we create the conditions of our body in the nonconscious mind. In responding to the probing questions we ask, we may find an aspect of our being needs healed and the healing could be at any level of our being. We may find ourselves facing some type or kind of body condition, such as an illness, or a pain reflecting what we access. Often the energy in the memories need to be processed and one of the ways it process the energy is through an illness and/or surfacing of a pain to tell us where to look

To reconstitute our creative ability and creative power and become “whole” to manifest what we desire, we will need to be free to accept that healing and face the pain. Sometimes our wounds and associates pains are our defenses keeping us where we are and in the reality that is currently manifesting. Wounds and pains are very effective tools that mind can use to keep us bound. Rather than process the energy and allow our creative spirit to become free, we hold the energy and keep ourselves bound. The fear of opening these wounds of the past or creating similar wound can cause us to avoid exactly what needs to be addressed. The resistance we feel can be quite strong. For some individuals it is easier to live with a wound that face the fear and the unknown that go along with the healing of that wound.

This is one reason why it is recommended to include in our intention that we make the journey as gentle as possible. In making such a request, our intuitive guidance will honor it. It will look for ways to face what we need to face but to do it as gently as possible. However, gentle is a relative term and we never know that path we would have had to take if we did not make such an intention. All we can really do is trust the power of our intention and trust universe will honor our request. If we don’t particularly like what we are facing, we can always ask, “Why do I have to face this pain, illness or the like?” However, we will need to be open to the answer we get.
